1. Guaranteed
There’s nothing in life
that’s guaranteed except for
only one thing — death.
2. Light Them Up
You’ll light up someone’s
life if you compliment them.
So do it a lot.
3. Crayons
Children love crayons
to draw and make colorful
drawings of the world
as they imagine it is.
Adults need crayons.
4. Admit It
Often, it’s so hard
to admit a mistake you’ve
made and then move on.
5. Wicked People
The world has far too
many wicked people in
it. Let’s round them up
and banish them to Wicked
Island, where they all belong.
6. Watching TV
Sometimes it’s called the
“Boob Tube”, and in fact, TV
does show you some boobs.
7. To Be Or Not
Will Shakespeare posed a
tough question: to be or not
to be? I think I’ll
choose not to answer such a
hard question — so buzz off, Will!
8. Disturbing
If a neighbor does
something that disturbs your peace,
disturb them right back.
9. Iron Butterfly
I like the name of
the group “Iron Butterfly.”
Both light and heavy.
10. Sheep-ish
There are some people
who’ll blindly follow someone
to places even sheep wouldn’t
go — sheep are not that stupid.
11. Homely
She may be homely
looking, and not a beauty.
But she makes great milk.
12. Invitation
You get my invite?
“What did you invite me to?”
Not to come, that’s what.
13. Face It
What’s wrong with your face?
“My face? What’s wrong with my face?”
Now we’re both concerned.
14. Sleepy Head
I tried so hard to
stay awake in class, but it
was so boring that
I kept nodding off, so Miss
Smith tossed me right out.
15. Pillow Talk
The expression known
as pillow talk intrigues me.
What do pillows say
to one another? And do
the cushions ever eavesdrop?
16. Moondrop
If you fell from the
Moon to the Earth, you would be
a real, live Moondrop.
17. Not So Charming
You think you’re charming?
“I do, my lovely princess.”
Keep working on it.
18. Smelly
Your socks really smell.
“You’re crazy! My socks don’t smell.”
Must be your feet then.
19. U.S. Grant
There was a famous American general
whose name was Ulysses S. Grant.
He fought for Abraham Lincoln
for the Union to win the Civil War.
Later on, he became President,
but wound up a mediocre one.
Nonetheless, he is fondly remembered
for his crucial role in the Civil War.
Before Grant was put in charge,
President Lincoln had trouble finding
competent generals to lead his troops.
Then came U.S. Grant, a true American hero.
20. Blusher
She looked at me with
her lovely blue eyes, and I
blushed and ran away.
21. Diaper?
I wonder if Donald
Trump wears a diaper?
Maybe so, because he can
act like a big baby. So
I guess it just all Depends…
22. Drive
Sometimes you just want
to get in your car and drive,
drive for no reason.
23. Happy
When you’re happy and
you know it, just slap your face
and wake the hell up.
24. Feeling Froggy?
The old taunt goes, “if
you feel froggy, jump on up.”
No, not this old frog.
25. Karaoke
Karaoke is
a wonderful way that you
can entertain friends
by embarrassing yourself
and looking like a big fool.
